Overview

Melbourne City Gems Short Stay operates this site (ABN:80137179732, ACN:137179732) referred to as "MCGSS","We", "Us" or "Our". In using this web-Site you agree to be bound by these terms of use.

1. Payment

This is to be made in full at the time of booking. 50% of monies paid is non-refundable. 50% of monies paid will be refunded if MCGSS is informed within 30 days of check-in date. No monies will be refunded as a result of cancelling a reservation less than 30 days of check-in date.

2. Security Deposit

This is AUS$500.00 including G.S.T. and is fully refundable subject to a satisfactory inspection at check-out. An inventory listing possessions and condition of the apartment is prepared prior to your arrival, a copy will be supplied together with these Terms & Conditions on arrival. Should you wish to discuss any of the items listed then you should do so within two hours of arrival otherwise it will be viewed as being accurate. Any damages, accidental or otherwise will be deducted from the security deposit.

3. Arrival & Departure Times

You are required to check-In between 14.00 p.m. and 20.00 p.m. One of our representatives will meet you at your accommodation and we therefore require at least one week's notice of a definitive time of arrival. For security, our representative will have an MCG's photographic identification badge, they should present you with this on meeting them. You will also be asked for photographic Identification so please make this available – a driver's license or Passport is perfect.

Should your travel be delayed or cancelled for whatever reason then please endeavor to contact the number supplied on your booking confirmation.

You are required to Check-Out by 11.00 a.m. on the day of departure, one of our representatives will inspect the apartment and refund the security deposit if everything is in order.

4. Extended Stay

This is strictly subject to availability, please note that owing to our continued high standards , availability can be very limited. If you think you may require additional days then we suggest you book in advance to avoid disappointment. Please also note that availability of any accommodation in the locality of the CBD at short notice can be very limited – at any time!

5. Changes to Dates or Accommodation

As we're sure you can appreciate this is strictly subject to availability. In the first instance this needs to be requested in writing and as soon as your circumstances change. We will assist as much as is possible but cannot be held responsible for any associated costs.

In the unlikely event that an apartment becomes unavailable in the interim following booking confirmation, MCGSS reserves the right to offer alternative accommodation to the same standard or higher subject to availability or offer a full refund.

Noise

Your apartment is in a prestigious location with a mix of discerning travelers and working professionals in full time residence. Please respect this fact and keep noise to a minimum after 9.00 p.m. Please note that in the case of serious misconduct the owner has the right to expel the tenant without notice or compensation.

Cleaning

Your apartment should be cleaned to a high standard upon arrival. This is checked as part of our quality control prior to your arrival. Fresh bed linen and towels will be provided on arrival and will be replaced on a rolling seven day basis if your stay exceeds this period of time.
