    Booking

  1. What is the Booking Process?
    1. Select your location on the homepage.
    2. Choose your apartment from the available properties.
    3. Choose method of Payment and Confirm Booking.
    4. If paying on-line by credit card you booking reference number will appear immediately. This will be followed up within twenty four hours with a confirmation e-mail with your full itinery details.
  2. How far in advance should I book my accommodation?
    Any accommodation in and around Melbourne CBD is in high demand at any time. Owing to our high level of quality our service is in very high demand and therefore it is advisable to book your accommodation as soon as you are confident on your travel dates and you locate available accommodation on our web-site to avoid disappointment. It is not unusual for our apartments to be booked out months in advance. Please note that the maximum time that the apartments can be pre-booked is three months in advance.
  3. Do I receive a booking confirmation?
    You will receive a booking reference number following completion of the booking and payment process that confirms that the apartment selected has been booked for the dates selected. Following receipt of payment in our bank account we will e-mail you with a detailed confirmation of the booking that includes:-

  4. What is included in a "Fully Furnished" apartment?
    The short answer is just about everything that you need including bed-linen and towels. This said, they are self-catering and therefore you are to provide food and toiletries.
  5. What is the Cancellation Procedure?
    You are required to notify MCGSS in writing of any cancellations as soon as possible. Please note that 50% of any monies paid is non-refundable. No refund of any monies received is permitted if we receive notification less than 30 days prior to the check-in date.

    Payment can be made by on-line payment via the booking link or by a bank transfer direct into our bank account-see below for details.

  10. How much is the Security deposit?
    This is AUS$500.00 including G.S.T. (Goods and Services Tax) and is taken from a Credit Card at Check –In.
  11. When is the Security deposit returned??
    The Security deposit is fully refundable subject to a satisfactory inspection at check-out. An inventory listing possessions and condition of the apartment is prepared prior to your arrival. Any broken or missing items must be paid for. Please note that our Representative conducts a thorough check against the itinery before your security deposit is returned, we thank you for your patience during this essential part of our Quality Control Process.

    Arrival

  13. How do I find the Accommodation?
    It is your responsibility to reach your accommodation by the agreed time.
    A Google map identifying the location of your apartment is located on the apartment web-page. The apartment address is also detailed in your booking confirmation e-mail.
    If you are experiencing difficulties finding the accommodation then please contact the number supplied with your booking confirmation.
  14. What Time is Check-In?
    You are required to check-In between 14.00 p.m. and 20.00 p.m.
  15. Who will I meet?
    One of our representatives will meet you at your accommodation and we therefore require at least one week’s notice of a definitive time of arrival. For security, our representative will have a MCG’s photographic identification badge; they should present you with this on meeting them. Please have your identification such as a passport or drivers license available to satisfy our quality control procedures.

    Departure

  17. What time is Check-Out?
    You are required to Check-Out by 11.00 a.m. on the day of departure, one of our representatives will inspect the apartment and refund the security deposit if everything is in order. Please contact our office the day prior to your departure to advise of your exact departure time requirements.
